Happy new year! How did you celebrate? I myself watched Star Wars Episode 3 with three handsome gents and called the police on a suspicious person in the neighborhood. The Glands went out and got drunk, and then got married! Yes, that’s right: she and her buddy – a “mixed martial arts manager”, which sounds very fancy, wonder if he is considering purchasing a red Ferrari – got wasted in Vegas and decided to get hitched on the fly before heading to the Spearmint Rhino for some strippin’. Brandi tweeted to her followers the ladylike announcement that “I’m married again – suuuuuuuuck it!” while her new husband tweeted that they would be seeking a prompt annulment. Ah, love.

Woo hoo, it’s party time! And wow this is going to be a BLAST! But before we get started let’s sort out what’s what here and there:

· As you may recall, Teresa and Joe Guidice filed for bankruptcy with an $11 million dollar debt just a year or two ago. Not long after that, one of the trustees in their case filed suit, alleging they had fraudulently concealed assets that should have gone to pay their creditors. Joe dropped his bankruptcy filing some time ago, which ended the lawsuit against him; the ongoing case against Teresa was due to go to trial on Friday, but just in the nick of time she too has abandoned their bankruptcy case and is going to pay off her debts with her newfound income, just as she stated on the New Jersey reunion show. Howdy doody! I hope your week has started better than mine – I’ve spent today herding a turtle with strep throat and making holiday treats for the teachers, and now the Mister is eating them! Dammit, you can’t eat the teacher treats! If it isn’t one thing… I wonder what’s going on with those crazy Housewives?

· Jill Zarin, ex-Housewife and now Nothing, has been threatened with a lawsuit by none other than Ms. Barbra Streisand! It seems Jill attended an event at which Babs performed, then posted a video she took with her cell phone on YouTube. What a butthead. The NY Post also reported that Jill tried to get a restaurant to comp her recent birthday party, but there were no takers.

· Apparently Kim Richards’ recent detour to rehab was at the behest of Bravo. Since Russell Armstrong’s suicide they are apparently doing everything they can to avoid a repeat, vetting their cast members better and trying to seek help for those who need it.
