Brandi’s not just on the outs with Kyle – her “first friend”, Adrienne, who supposedly invited her to join the show, is now on her sh*t list too. Why? Because Adrienne talks behind everyone’s back. In other words, Brandi is now on Team Lisa, which is why she is on the Left couch. Adrienne retorts that Lisa is only friends with Brandi because she is worried about what Brandi is going to say about her otherwise. Lisa disagrees, and since I don’t really think Lisa pays attention to or cares one little bit about what anyone says about her, she wins this point. Plus we know how Lisa likes bawdy humor, and Brandi is certainly one bawdy gal.
Forget those chicks, though: no one, and I mean NO ONE, hates The Glands more that Tay. I don’t know what happened with those two, but there are obviously some significant details that have been left off camera. Fangs are bared couch-to-couch. The only new tidbit we learn is that The Glands claims to have encountered Russell at The Glen (a shopping center, maybe the same place where Kathy Hilton has her resale shop?) and he told her that Taylor made him send the nasty email to Camille, despite her insistence to the contrary. Uh oh. Aaaaaaand, it’s on.
High Catty ensues. Taylor tosses the bomb about the tire slitting, and The Glands defuses it like The Hurt Locker. She then taunts Tay by asking when the book is coming out. It’s been “a hot minute”, she says, which is pretty much true. Tay shouts back that three women die each day from abuse, and should she wait? Hmmm. Which is more likely: her book will provide much-needed personal income, or her book will save countless women’s lives? I’m not saying her book may not help someone, somewhere, or that establishing an income stream to support herself and her child isn’t a perfectly legitimate reason to have written this book. I just think she can’t pretend this is all driven by altruism. She needs the money, this is what she’s got to work with, right now is the prime opportunity, so here goes. Let’s call it what it is. (I can’t believe I am sort of agreeing with The Glands on anything. For the record, I do not think it’s cool to have my ass out.)
Nonetheless, Kyle (continuing her campaign to redeem the Mean Girl revelation by donning her cape as Defender of the Weak) calls Brandi “Angry Spice” and says she shouldn’t speak until she’s walked in someone else’s shoes. I suppose I shouldn’t, either. But who’s the angry one here, asks Brandi? Kyle’s the one who wrote mean blogs! A whole fracas ensues over how Kyle pretended to be nice by inviting The Glands to her holiday party; Brandi declined, and then texted a friend (using an icky ladypart word that I personally don’t repeat) that she just didn’t want to go. Turns out she did the same thing to Adrienne over her Halloween party. Sounds like Brandi only shows up for the Bravo cameras. Pay for play, as they say. Not sure who’s more not nice as between this bunch, but I am sure the argument will continue.
Who is the real Camille?
Camille has been quite demure this season, and as we know there are rumblings that Mr. Andy and the good people of Bravo think she’s no longer good TV. In a last-ditch effort to spice Cammy up, Mr. Andy asks her directly: just who is the real Camille?
Hi, I just want to say that I truly enjoy your recaps. They are always very witty and fun to read. 🙂
